I have a WD portable 160GB drive. It was connected to a laptop XP Pro and the table was hit and the drive got disconnected and mabe fell on the floor. So know when I connect it to a computer for a while it would not read (connected thru the usb connection). So I tried to connect it to other computers and including the one it was unpluged from and no result. So I cracked open the case and hooked it up SATA and it will find it and give it a letter and I can find it in disk management in XP Pro. When I try to access it it says the drive is not formated would you like to format it now. (Of course no) It also says in disk management that free space is 100%... Is there any way to recover the data or anything.

Pl
Lease help...
