Three days ago i had a problem with a missing file named hal.dll.A programmer told me how to fix it.My computer now works perfectly except the fact that i don't have any voice even when i log in to a user.If anyone knows something i would appreciate.

My specs are:
Windows xp pro sp2
AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+
2.71 GHz
512 MB RAM

Go to start/ run and type in "devmgmt.msc" without the quotes. Hit enter.
In device manager are there any ? or ! showing ?

I didn't fully understand what you mean if there is any.In device manager are many tabs with different options.
In the sound check it is soundMax Integrated Digital HD Audio
If you mean sth else tell me

Ah i just noticed that in windows media player i have sound
