I was running Office 2003, and synchronizing my Palm Centro through Outlook. No real problems.

I recently installed MS Office 2007 Enterprise (w/Outlook).

Last successful sync was 3/10.

Then it blue-screened and there is no activity when I push the sync button on the cable. HotSync icon disappears in the tray. I have uninstalled (clean - deleting registry items) and reinstalled, disabling virus protection. I have run SpyBot, Super Anti-Spyware and Avast!

I have tried re-installing with original Access (HotSync) CD that came with phone in 3/08.

Updated everything and STILL it won't install the HotSync Manager.

Halfway through the install, I get this message:

"HotSync Manager Application has encountered an problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Then a prompt to tell Microsoft about this problem.

It happens several times during install and I cannot manage to install it.

Does anyone have a fix for this?
