Hi, i recently virus checked my girlfriends computer and discovered a lot of nasty viruses which i removed. However, i think some of them were lurking in the system files which have now been deleted. When i boot up the computer, i can click on user and enter that profile, but all that appears on the screen is the background image and then it logs of almost straight away. Have i deleted any important system files i wonder? I've performed the windows repair as the virus wouldn't let me use system restore but the problem still remains. What can i do? Many thanks. Chris
