Hi there,

Need help badly! sad.gif

My laptop (Thinkpad T60) 2 year old now freezes randomly. I have to do hard boot to start. I do hear hissing sound from speakers and only speaker volume and laptop light works. I am facing this problem for last 3 months. Problem started when I upgraded the hard drive(Seagate) and installed XP - Pro and other applications - built the system. I got upgrade and installation done from computer shop. They ran hardware test to make sure that it is not a hardware problem. They don't have idea why is it happening. I have spend enough hours to take their help. I doubt they can fix my problem.

I never had this problem before.

Freezing is random sometime I am on Yahoo, using outlook or using word. I have noticed that it is more when I using browser doing web surfing. I go to Yahoo, Yahoo finance and all safe sites. I have McAfee and Spybot - search and destroy installed.

Typically I use Outlook 2007, Word, Act and few browser tabs open at any time. OS - XP - Pro.

I really appreciate any tips, solutions to fix my problem.

Thanks,

Josh
