Printer keeps reprinting same page

MY printer just can't stop printing the same page. The page count keeps running into thousands. I allowed it to print just one page and then cancel the print.
I am using Windows XP on a peer2peer LAN. This print problem happens only with a particular application. Initially, I had no problems with printing when using the application. After a few weeks, the problem hit me. The problem occurs whilst printing on the workstation or at the server. The printer is attached to one of the 4 workstations. The printer works fine with other applications.
Appreciate if anyone can show me the light.
