See if these drives are visible in MSDOS.

  • Copy the entire contents of the Quote Box below to Notepad.
  • Name the file as Query.bat
  • Change the Save as Type to All Files
  • and Save it on the root folder. Usually C:\
  • Once saved, double click on the Query.bat file and post the log it shall produce. On Vista right click and select Run as an administrator.

After that, In the physical drive section, click on Fixed disc #2. Send a snapshot.

FYI, Disc #1 and the C: drive are the same size. I believe this is telling us, Disc #1 is the physical,
C: is the logical. Both of those entries actually contain the same data.

I'm still trying to figure out where the root folder is. Can you offer any more info on where on the C drive it is, or how I can find it?

The root folder is your C: drive
The root folder is just a term. just save it to your C drive.

He doesn't want you to put it in a folder, just save it to the C drive. See modified post #185

When I highlight the disk 2, and then click on the winsnap, the highlight goes away as you can see (I think).

The system is only recognizing C:\. There is no readable data elsewhere.
