I need help.

I am accessing my laptop (vista) from my home computer (XP.) I have the connection, but I have two problems:

1) file transfer does not work, and yes, I have gone to options--> local resources--> more--> and enabled drives C and E (drive D is a MS Money drive) on both computers.

2) there is no audio, the audio taskbar icon on the remote computer (Vista) is crossed out, with "No audio output device is installed." I have enabled the audio to be brought to the controlling computer (XP,) do I need to install a driver?

How do I fix these problems? Is any of this caused by the different OS's? I'm clueless as what to do here.
