my monitor wont turn on

it was working fine , no warning in any way, just all of a sudden, the power button flashes but the screen remains black,, any suggestions are appreciated.. thanks

Can you plug the monitor in to another computer ? If it works, it will eliminate the monitor as a problem.

Just wanted to add, or you can borrow a monitor from someone you know and plug it in, if it works...then your monitor is bad.

Basically the same thing 123runner is saying. You should get the idea/point.
