ok thanks im doing it now! also not sure if this is important but when i click on computer > c drive i noticed this folder in it. is this normal? this is the nameof the folder:
f4804d1d0f76e0184352007025 and iinside is is 2 more folders amd64 and i386. is this because i just installed service pack 3? or is this malware...? thanks!!!

Your speeds look fine.

What about...

Close IE.
Go Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools, and click on Internet Explorer (no add-ons). Same slowness?

ok i did that and its still slow. so weird! i wonder if i should just reinstall it.

also regarding that folder in my c: folder do u think i shoudl delete it? i did a malware scan it came back clean

I'm not sure what that folder is, but its subfolders (amd64 and i386) look pretty legit.

As for IE7 uninstall, you'd have to uninstall SP3 first. There is no other way around.
Was IE behaving better before SP3 installation?

Download Autoruns for Windows: http://technet.micro...s/bb963902.aspx
No installation required.
Simply unzip Autoruns.zip file, and double click on autoruns.exe file to run the program.
Go File>Save As, and save AutoRuns.txt file to know location.
Attach the file to your next reply.

hi ok i uninstalled windows service pack 3 and uniinstalled internet ex. 7 and installed 8 and its fast! thank you soo much for your helps!
