Help with HP P2015dn Printer

Was given an HP P2015dn that is not working.
When first turned on the 'Paper Jam' light comes on. There is no paper jammed.
Can not find the printer when trying to set it up via Windows XP control panel.
Also tried to find it via HP's website using their software with no luck.
This printer is just over a year old. Worked great then just quit suddenly.
Does this sound like something easily fixed, not easily fixed, or, sell it for parts on ebay or throw it away.
There is a new unused toner cartridge with it but never installed. The cartridge in it is not that old.

Any help appreciated,
