I have XP home, IE6, Sygate firewall, Norton AV

This started a week ago...

When I try to go to www.army.mil I get DNS error

I can go to other .mil sites

My frieds can go to www.army.mil

I tried different browsers different dial up, spybot adaware etc.

No luck

Hi Russ,

I don't see anything on your system that would be causing problems. My best guess is that the site server is blocking your IP address range. This is often done to prevent people that have abused or attempted hacking the site from accessing it. I'm not suggesting that you did anything improper, but someone that shares your IP adress range may have. This is especially true when accessing via dial-up.

You could try contacting the webmaster and informing them of your problem. They may be able to allow you access. [email protected]
