hey everyone,

i just reinstalled my OS, and therefore reinstalled directx 9.0c...

but now, when i try to play the same games that i did before i reinstalled my OS, it says that a bunch of directx drivers are missing...

for example, i have rogue squadron 3d, and it says that multiple drivers are missing and won't work...like, while i'm in the game, i can't use my keyboard at all to type anything, such as creating a new player profile

i've tried getting rid of directx completely with directx eradicator and then reinstalling it, but that doesn't work

the thing that gets me, is that programs like classic media player work (and that requires some dlls right there)

i'm out of ideas, and i really need to get this working as directx is pretty much a component of windows that you need...

thanks for your help guys

dxdiag is just system info has nothing to do with installing and reinstalling. I don't see what you can do with dxdiag. It does say what specific files are gone but that is useless since the only way to get the files is to re install which doesn't work for you. Try HALO you can get dx 9c from the halo disc.
