Internet Explorer Redirects to Spam sites

Hello....this is driving me nuts....Ive updated and run the latest antivirus software on my symantec program. I tried following the instructions given to fix in previous similiar posts by members (ie Google redirect Virus Jan '06).....unfortunately my hijack log reads different and I don't know what commands I should delete and which I should keep.

My computer is being really slow right now... aswell when i go into google the links i click direct me to ads and nonrelated sites...only after clicking two or three times do i get into the original site intended....in addition I am unable to get to windows update site..... here's the hi-jack this log:

Dont really have much idea of what should be there and what shouldn't.

Hey jason_79 -- welcome to G2G :)

Please do not attempt to "Fix" anything from within HijackThis unless explicitly directed to by our Malware Staff -- you run the risk of possibly doing more damage to your system. I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE thread. These self-help tools will allow you to clean up to 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after performing these steps, then please follow Step Five: Rootkit Detection and Step Six: Post an OTListIt2 Log; ensure you post your logs in the Malware Forum. If you are unable to run and/or post any of these logs, then mention that in your initial post in the topic you create in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
