Hello welcome to GeeksToGo, We will be happy to help you.

I will need some more information
Make and Model
Operating System
Age of the computer
Memory Total
Hard Drive Size, How much free space

If it is custom then I will need the following
The CPU brand and model
The Motherboard brand and model
Ram amount and speed
Cd\Dvd rom interface IDE/ SATA
Hard Drive size and free space
Any cards in PCI slots
Any software installed\updated and driver updates done just before problem started

All this will help in determining a course of action to best correct the problem you are experiencing.

I'm not sure what 2 wire thingy you are referring to
Internet is one of 3 ways
Dialup though your phone line
cable through your cable company
satellite through someone like Direct or Dishnetwork

Hi HaleyT, sorry I have been busy all day outside my home and jsut got back in. Lets see if we can work on this now .

Go to start>right click on My Computer>Properties
A System Properties window will popup. We are only concerned with the window that is showing.

It will show
System info and Computer info
Post the info except for registration number
thats personal to your system and we don't need it
