help with Winfax 10 import and export

I'm trying to import data from the Send and Receive logs, from my old computer to my new one.
I've followed the directions in Help, but ran into this problem:
The file types available in "Export" and "Import" do not match.
Export offers ascii or dBase.

The Import function allows for a "Winfax 7x/8x/9x/10" format when asking you to select a database type.
When I select this format, though, and subsequently select the export file I created (.txt with ascii, .dbs with dBase) I get an error message stating:
"Call failed; unable to open that log to import it".

I'm stumped.

Does anyone have any help / suggestions?
