i think this last one may have worked. i did everything except i did not enter drwtsn32 -i in the command prompt. the first time i ran the mouse over a video file i got some sort of error message, then everything went blank before coming back again. but after that, i get no error messages and no dr wtsn screwing up my comp. i'll try a reboot and see if it holds up. by the way, if this works is there any reason i should enter dr wtsn into the command prompt? i mean, if i leave things the way they are with the debugger will it have harmfull effects?
