Trying to help my mother-in-law clean up her computer - she has an inordinate number of annoying pop-ups including many with Aurora in the title bar ;) . I know that she spent a lot of time at on-line gaming sites - I assume this is where she picked up these invasive problems. I've tried to "clean up" her computer, but I have limited knowledge and experience in this area :tazz: . I've gone through the steps suggested on the GTG site (thank you!), but I'm still getting the pop-ups. Here is a copy of the HijackThis log file...

Hi travinman,

Welcome to Geeks 2 Go. Sorry about the delay in getting to your post, we have been very busy.

Do you still require help or are your problems resolved.

Please let me know and if you still require assistance, please post a fresh HJT log.

Regards,

Usetobe

Usetobe,
I am no longer visiting my mother-in-law, so I don't have direct access to the computer in question. However, I will have someone run a new HJT log and I will post it here shortly. Much obliged.
