[size="5"]I have a compaq monitor and harddrive, when I turn on the computer I get an error message " Wait" hit f1 to continue. I cannot use the keyboard to move around the system at all. I have tried restarting and that does not work. How can I get the keyboard to work.

Have you tried using a different keyboard? Also, were you messing with registry prior to this?

Yea, use a ps/2 keyboard if your computer has a slot for it. That should work.
