I used Sudden Link cable as my ISP and I emailed them and asked them for help in how to start MS Outlook email. They provided me with my ISP address, POP3 info, and smtp.suddenlink.net and pop.suddenlink.net info in order that I could activate Outlook Express.

Later, I found out I do not need Outlook Express, I actually need to use Microsoft Outlook. So how to I de-activate Microsoft Outlook Express and start using Microsoft Outlook email. I need this email because I need several email programs for my home office.

Thanks very much for your help.

You can configure your e-mail account (smtp.suddenlink.net) in MS Outlook. After that just remove account form your Outlook express.
Your MS Outlook automatically set as your default e-mail client.

When done with MS outlook, go into your outlook express.
Go to tools/ accounts and click on the account you want to remove.
On the right hand site you will see "remove".
