Hey guys, I recently bought Empire: Total War and I'm having some difficulty joining multiplayer games.

Me and my friend from Finland cannot connect to each other, and I am having troubles connecting pretty much all games on there.

I've been told I need to forward some ports on my router, so I followed this guide: http://www.portforwa...team_Client.htm but it's asking me for the 'Server IP address' but I don't know what IP to put in here.

I tried 192.168.1.5 but that didn't seem to work.

Any help?

You set the static IP address of your computer to 192.168.1.5?

If so and you entered that in, did you make sure all changes were applied?

Also after accepting changes, power down the router for 1 minute, then power it back on.

Log back in and make sure the rules are still there and active.
