hey everyone...
so today my computer somehow snagged one of the nasty google redirection viruses...
it redirected certain links in google to something called poiskin.ru
Malwarebytes did manages to remove a lot of viruses but not the browser redirect one in particlular, but after looking it up on another computer, i came to THIS thread:
http://www.geekstogo...ct-t220522.html
basically i followed the instructions in there to an extent...
i downloaded gooredfix and ran it. after that i ran OTScan with the directions in that thread...
well, the gooredfix APPEARS to have fixed the problem... so far so good.
i just thought to be safe though i'd come here and ask if i should continue with the directions within that thread and run SDfix as well??
thanks everyone
attached are my logs from gooredfix and otscan
