I recently downloaded something on my computer and apparently got some malware and now I cannont connect to the internet. I immediately try to run antimalwarebytes but windows kept saying it was an error so i am on my friends comp trying to download free antimalware software. I then figured out the rename the .exe file to get around it and did and have removed 15 infected objects. But I still cannot connect to the internet does anybody know what I should do? I plugged directly into a router through LAN cable and my roommate clearly gets internet so I'm not sure what the problem is.
