Hello Lucky Dearly
How much space is available on the drive ?
What data is on the drive ?
Are you able to access the drive ?
Has the drive been scanned for infections recently?
Anthony19
So Nothing strange on computer itself ? , only the External...
PS: If you are able to access the drive... When you Are Browsing through the drive is it slow ?
This is I'm assuming through USB 2.0 ?

1: 76 GB of space is avalible on it
2: mostly media (audio, video, pictures and family photos, and pc games such as Wheel of Fortune, Star Wars Jedi Academy, Fable, and Doom)
3:most of the time, sometimes it will not detect even though it's powered on
4: not yet but I intend to run some scans I got (Malaware Bytes, Super Anti Spyware)
yeah it's mostly the external drive giving me problems, the I/O error was the most recent as well as the file write error I got when I tried to move some files, and as of now it isn't lagging and yes it's a usb connected drive (usb 2.0)

Does this fix the problems you have with the drive. Try normally using your computer for a few days, and see if the problem is resolved.

Download this and install. Then use it to run a diagnostic on the drive.
Make sure that the usb cable used to connect the drive is of good quality, and is functioning correctly.

When did it give you this error?
Was it given when you tried to launch the program?
