My computer previously would not work, It would load fine but give a long beep and 2 short beeps and although everything seems to power up and i could even hear the hard drive loading everything nothing came up on the screen.

I have since purchased a new Motherboard / CPU and Memory.
Now everything seems to run but nothing comes up on the screen, no beeping however.

I am wondering if perhaps the parts i bought are not compatible. They are:

GA-EP31-DS3L motherboard
KTH-XW4400E6 2G Memory DDR2
Dual core 7400 CPU

My existing components are:
6600GT Video Card
150g seagate hard drive

Is my Memory compatible? I am really running short on ideas. Could my Video card not be working considering it spins, runs and looks fine.
Removing the Hard Drive, Video Card makes no difference. Will it matter if i am trying to boot up without a CD-rom or disk drive?
