I am running Office 2000 Premium Edition on Windows Vista and I am able to receive e-mails in Outlook but I cannot send anything. When I attemp to send an e-mail I get a message saying "An error occured while attempting to open the Windows Address Book. Unable to find the WAB DDL." Also when I open Outlook Express I get a message saying "Outlook is not currently your default manager for mail. Would you like to register Outlook as your default manager." This message continues to come up even though I click on yes. I would greatly appreciate any help that is out there.

This might help:

Go to:

1. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
2. Find the OUTLOOK application.
3. Right click on it and select "Run as Administrator".

Also:

Navigate to: Start > Default Programs > Set Your Default Programs

Make Outlook 2000 your default email program.

Unfortunately, Outlook 2000 isn't supported on Vista.
But, workarounds have been developed.
