HI there! I'm hoping you all can help me.
I'm running Windows XP on a network at our office.

I belong to a few writing sites online which I check every day.
I've belonged to this one site for over a year and have never had trouble getting on. Until this past Monday. Now I get one of the above errors every time I try to log on. Usually the Conn. Int. one first and then I'll either keep getting it or it will switch to the Network Timeout one.

I'm running AVG 8.5.287 - with the firewall turned off and Kerio 4.3.286 firewall. The Windows firewall is also turned off.
I tried turning off Kerio - no joy. I tried pinging the website by name and number - no joy.
Our office tech says it looks like I'm almost getting in, but it drops right before reaching the connection. He had me run this:

He then advised me to called SBC - we're on DSL with SBC - but they weren't able to figure it out either.

I don't get online much at home - I'm using an ATT Dataconnect card - so I may not check back till Monday. I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

BTW - I tried getting into this site from different computers in the office and none of them are able to get there, so it's not just my computer.

sorry i haven't gotten back with you sooner. been pretty busy here.

we have towers - and the routers in the back, so i'd have to do a lot of moving around to try that.
if it were the router wouldn't i have trouble getting into more than one site?

This is in a OFFICE? Is there a IT Department as they would be the ones to assist in this problem if I'm correct?
What do you think Happyrock?

As I stated in my first post above, our IT guy did look at it and finally had me run a trace on the site I'm trying to get into [i posted the results above] - then he said it sounded like an SBC problem.

I called SBC who - after a couple hours of trying most of the things my IT guy and I tried - were totally unable to help.

I thought someone here might have some new ideas.

****Problem fixed. Thanks anyway.****

I've been getting pm's regarding how my problem was resolved, so I thought I'd post what I did. Hope this helps someone else.

Since I didn't get much response here, I posted my problem to a couple of fanboards I belong to. A friend's boyfriend - an IT guy - said to turn off/unplug our modem and router. I then plugged them back in, rebooted my computer - and I was able to get into the site again.
That's all. I can't believe I spent 3 hours with SBC and they didn't suggest that!
Our office IT guy assumed I had tried that first. :)
