Looking to make my ASUS Eee PC 2G Surf not so archaic, i guess i can download wine as a windows emulator, says it depends on windbind, i cannot seem to find where i can download that from. also would this make the desktop look like a typcial xp (lets say) desktop, and when it comes to installing do i have to manipulate script cause i can if i have a detailed tutorial to follow.

Im assuming you want to run Linux and use WINE to emulate Windows programs.

What flavor of Linux?
