My mouse quits working after 15 or 20 minutes. It started when I left my computer on all night and turned it off this am. When I booted it up the mouse would quit within a few seconds.
I went to the Control panel and did their check, but before that I took another mouse and tried it with the same result. After the check the mouse worked but for only 15 to 20 minutes.
Any ideas?

What type of mice did you use (wired, wireless, USB, PS/2)?
By mouse "quitting", you mean exactly what?

It is USB mouse and we tried both a Logitech and a HP mouse. The mouse just froze after a few moments but if you unplugged and plugged it back in it ran again for a few minutes. We reset the computer to a few days ago and that has seeming solved the problem, but doesn't solve why.
