Hey guys, ia m a newbeeeee here! Thanx for this great site!

I have an Intel p4 with win xp prof sp2, and i just bought a logitech webcam. i installed the software and pluged it in but nothing, i checked the hardware device, and everything should be fine. (i tried uninstall the software, safe mode, uninstall the usb ports, but still nothing...i have a sony dig.camera and same problem there too....my computer works fine except....the usb ports!!! what shoul i do, any suggestions!! thank u very much!!!

You looked at device manager and see the universal serial bus controller is installed and OK, but none of the ports work? If that is the case, I would suspect a driver probelm. You could remove the controller, then re-boot and let windows detect and reinstall it. Do you have a windows install CD? What kind of computer? Have you checked the PC manufacturer web page for any driver updates?

thanks for your reply....yes i tried uninstall the device, i let the windows install them again , but still nothing!

i have a p4 (asus p4p800 se), i updated all the drivers, but still nothing....every time i plug in stg to the usb ports nothing happening!!? it has 8 usb ports, the hardware device recognize 8 as well....but they dont work!
