I have original song lyrics written by my husband from an old computer which used the large floppy. He thinks the software used was DW v. 2. We had a computer "place" put them on a smaller disk from the larger floppy. They made it to our computer, but we can't read them. Meanwhile, the disk was erased or something. The computer place didn't return our original disk. They said they would redo it, but didn't.
For two years, I've been hoping to find someone to help with this.

So, I have text, which makes me think the lyrics are there, but I can't convert it to anything readable. And I don't know how to start.

Thanks for any help.

Hello haresojule...

The .doc file extension would indicate that it's a Microsoft Word document. It should open with that program or, perhaps, Open Office will also open the documents in a readable format.
