Hi Will, welcome to Geeks to Go!
I'd first try removing it, and then reinstalling it.
Goto control panel > add/remove programs > add/remove windows components tab , goto the games section and unselect it, choose OK then exit and reboot, goto the same place and then reinstall.

thank you..will give it a try. at the moment. i am on hold for up to 15 minutes ..after giving them my credit card number for a 40 dollar charge!
