Yes I believe that would be the one, however I never get to the point of selecting one of those options. My screen says please select one of the options. When I click on the down arrow there is nothing for me to select from so I never see the options you are showing in your screen shot.

I get to screeen #6 in the tutorial but it does not give me the two options shown in the tutorial to select from. Instead I get a box asking me select from one of the options but it won't display the options.

What security program are you using right now?

I was using avast. But I deleted that prior to installing NOD32. I used the uninstaller from the NOD32 website. I have used AVG in the past and I also used their uninstaller to clean out the system. Currently I have no antivirus installed that I am aware of.

That's not a good idea.

Nothing was wrong with avast but a computer techie solved some virus issues had told me NOd 32 was a better software. He installed NOD32 on my laptop and I thought if its good for the laptop then it should be good for the desktop.

I've been using Avast on couple of my Windows installations, and I feel the protection is very good.

I could always go back to avast per your suggestion but I was still curious to know why NOD32 would not load.
