I have a PC with a built in fan that is set to activate when the computer is above a certain temperature. this works fine. unfortunately, the proccessor (presumabely) thinks it is on fire, and after about 5-15 mins, shuts the computer down! the quick fix solution, is changing the set temperature down to 10 degrees, but the screen resets after every switch on. so I have to do this every time. as the default is 30 degrees and you have to go down in steps of one, you can see how this is annoying. Just one more thing you should know, is that I change the temperature on some buttons next to a blue LED screen (aprx. 1" tall by 5" wide) and so therefore cannot be something wrong with hardware. any soutions?
