Photo 926 Printer Problem

After installing new black ink (from Dell), my 926 prints the alignment sheet and gives alignment error, remove tape from the cartridge. Obviously I have already removed the tape. Same result with two different, new cartridges. My color cartridge is empty, but don't see why this would matter. Can I over ride the alignment feature? I rarely print in color. Thanks in advance for your help.

Apparently little or no help here for printer problems. Have learned to override the problem, so never mind.
