Trouble with java

Hello.
I did recently discover trouble with my java. It is no longer working in either firefox or IE7(I removed IE8). It is activated in the browsers settings and I have the latest java application. I have reinstalled a couple of times and have done a ccleaner sweap of registry between uninstall and innstall, and a restart of course?

Can anyone help?
