Here are the specifications for my first custom PC.

A8n-SLI Deluxe MoBo
AMD 64 3000+ Retail
Western Digital 250 MB Special Edition Hard Drive
Corsair 2 x 512 MB RAM (1GB)
Geforce NX6600 256 MB Video card
Lite-On 16x Couble Layer DVD-RW
X-Superalien Case w/ 500 watt power supply
:tazz: Can anyone give me a rating on my system? Maybe tell me how much I could re-sell this puppy for in the future?

You should have gotten a 6600GT video card, but otherwise very nice system, good ram and everything looks nice. :tazz:

I figured the 256 was better than the 128 thats why I got the NX6600....it was a little more expensive like 25 bucks for twice the ram.

Memory makes little difference in graphics cards.

I agree... the 6600s are good but the extra $50 - $60 more for the GT version is absolutely worth it. Believe it or not, your 6600 with 256MB probably doesn't perform as well as a 6600GT with 128MB :) . Plus, later on you can SLi another 6600GT for uber GPU processing :) , rather than spend $400+ for a "top-of-the-line" ;) video card later (which I estimate to perform about the same as the Dual 6600GTs). Otherwise, you got yourself a quality PC, my friend. :)

non-sequitur.... you think I used enough smileys in this post? LOL :tazz:

It depends on the person that you sell it to but you could make $200-$300 profit pretty easy.

In the future, that is really hard to say.... If you just built it now, you could make the $200-$300 profit now. Someone that doesnt know how to build a pc and is looking for a good overall rig, you could sell it.
