my usb devices are only listed in device manager and are not assigned a drive. after reading i found a bat file that is said to fix many usb problems such as my own. i followed the steps and then after restarting my computer i recieve the stop error 0x0000007e (0xc0000006, 0x806a3729, 0xf789e6e8, 0xf789e3e4)

any ideas?

What BAT file would this be then?
If in doubt, don't run random batch files you find on the internet if you don't know or are unsure exactly what they're going to do.
