Click HD diagnostic in my signature below. Choose the manufacturer of your hd. Download the tool. Running this will tell us if there is a problem with HD itself. If not then we will pursue other hardware or software possibilities

Sure no problem. The one item I found when researching your problem is that some people say if you disable "Floppy Drive Seek" in the BIOS that it might help with the error message.
Also make sure in the bios that the Keyboard is the only thing the system will not halt on error with.

So Report keyboard error turn to "do not report" and under integrated devices "Diskette Interface instead of "Auto to Read only or Off"???

There should be a place where you can turn off Floppy Drive Seek.
The other should say something like... Halt on all errors etc etc

Ok looked at the system event log and it says Keyboard error 7 times then CMOS battery failure, CMOS checksum error and CMOS time out not set. I think that was when I had to reset the time after replacing the Bat. I can't find turn off floppy or hault on errors. Went thu everything.??

OK you are checking in the bios correct?
The battery definitely was a problem from what you just described.
When you went into Bios did you press F10 to save and exit then click Y to verify save and exit after auto detecting and finding the Hard drive?
