i love to play Worldof Warcraft, i used to play on this pc, but since a monitor upgrade it freezes
all the time,

can i upgrade my graphics card to the one below

There are better cards than the 4670 but anything will be better than the onboard graphics. That computer is three years old though, so you do run the risk of feeding it a graphics card that's better than the rest of the entire system. As to where it fits - inside the case

three years old h, but having said that its still fast
enough n therefore good enough not warrant a full replacement
besides 70 GBP aint too much


the alternative is how can i get WoW to run on thispc

the other alternative would be to utilise any onboard expansion slots,,,,,,does this have any ....so i can upgrade it to 128mb or more because at64mb it not so good

1: Save it to your desktop.
2: Click on the icon it creates and let it run
3: I need the following information from it.
4: First click on the Mainboard tab at the top of the window and give me Manufacturer and Model number it shows
5: Cllick on the Memory tab and give me the Type and Size of memory it shows.

Yes thank you, that lets us know that your system has enough memory. now if WOW's minimum requirements for memory are no more then one gig of memory in the system then we are ok.
Now Neil can suggest a suitable video card for you.

I might suggest you:

Go HERE and run the Crucial online scanner.
This will give you the exact memory configuration for your system. You do not have to buy the memory from there, but write down the information and if you need assistance in purchasing the upgrade memory GTG can assist with suggestions also.

hi, thanks for the quick reply, according to gamespy.com.system req scans, i meet the basic for Wow.

however they suggest an upgrade to a driver.thats ok, but the radeon xpress is only 64mb the game minimum req,

the thing is i been playing here for ages at least 14months,i have all their expansions,and three characters at or near the 80lvl and until recently the game was more or less alriht.I originally ahd a monitor problem, it packed in,a 17'' one no none manu, i changed this to a HannsG HX191D
19''...........ok so the resolutoin has gone from 1024x728 to 1289 x 1024,would this have been the prob



I cant help thinking that the gonboard game card is not powerful enough to cope now.......

I agree that the onboard is not good enough for the game. I wouldn't want to run on the minimum requirements for a game like WOW
the onboard is probably struggling with your screen resolution alone. From what I see as far as your MOBO you should be able to get a PCI Express video card with what I would suggest a minimum of 256 megs of memory on it.
I would strongly suggest increasing your system memory also as I advised in my previous reply. This will assure not only a new video card but the system itself will run with no problems.

previous too your last, yeah i need the memory upgrade but there is such a difference in price it a joke , hehehe i wonder which of the two mem upgrades to use and i hasvea video card in mind, but as i asked in my first post,i cannot see on the rear of the pc where it would go . oh wait is there an inner frame work it goes on , then you would need adaptors to come through the box

There should be SLOTS on the back of the system where the card will position once connected into the right connector on the MOBO.
