Hi,

here is where your assistance is needed guys.

i have a tiny USB high speed internet modem.
when i plug it in , it opens an application. when i click connect(in that application) . it authenticates, registers me in the network, and then it displays a tiny little ballon near the system tray(saying internet connected , speed: 3.1Kbps) and then finally it opens up an internet explorer which goes to my cable company's homepage.

I have a tiny application "traffic counter" for monitoring my bandwith and usage. this application has a bug that whenever we change the ip, the apllication doesnot show me the transfer rate(well thats the cause of my problem)

Now when i get connected to the internet i want this trafficcounter.exe to be started up.

There are three steps where i can try starting this.
1- > when i obtain an IP address
2- > when i get the "Internet connected" balloon
3- > when the internet explorer starts up (when the iexplore.exe is forked by windows)
4- > when the homepage of my cable company is downloaded

After all these steps , my computer obtains an IP address, and since then my traffic counter will work fine.
and FYI, i can program in C, C++, Java, .net. I prefer dotnet , since thats what i use now.
