I've got serious MSN issues

:) As an everyday teen, MSN is ever so important to me :). I go on it, like, everyday and I like it to run smoothly. Well, ever since I (may I add FOOLISHLY :) :) :) ) downloaded a link, that said "ha ha, ure foto. click here" (something like that), my MSN has been doing the complete opposite. It sends the same "link" (or should i say malicious, evil virus :) ) to my contacts and makes my MSN act very dodgy :) .
I was gonna go with the whole Malwarebytes and HijackThis thing I found on someone's post, 'til I found out that was a big no no because every individual system gets an individual fix code or whatever and I could seriosly damage my system if I used someone else's.
So basically, I need help :)
