I can't find anywhere to search if this problem had been resolved.

Any help would be most appreciated on this. AVG found the infected file and movedc it to the vault and it has now been deleted, however I already opened it and have infected my pc/

It redirects windows update to my homepage
I can't use system restore
it freezes the PC.
