output sound problem

the speakers on the laptop works fine but i'm trying to output my sound from headphone on my laptop

the problem is, sound comes out on both of laptop speaker and headphone when connected.

it seems like i cant find headphones under "sounds" in "control pane"

how do i make it so that only sounds come out of headphone not speakers
