Hi I bought second-hand computer <not being very comp.savvy> and now this window keeps popping up that i have an illegal copy of xp...is there anyway I can fix this without spending megabucks.Help please,thank u.

Unfortunately not.
Either you have an XP licence or you don't. If you don't have one, Microsoft will send you what they call the "Genuine Advantage Kit" at a very decent price (when you consider how much XP Professional costs to buy yourself) that converts your copy of XP to a genuine one.
