my friends emachine with winxp messed and he had no disc. so he used a dell winxp disc so he dont have some drivers and his eithernet not working. the company had his wife install some drivers but all it did was stop the no network adapter error. i brought my pc over and ran the thing from halfdone.com and got some drivers it said couldnt find some and some wanted to dl from the web. his model was t2798 if i remember correctly and its not on the emachines website.??.

his motorolla cable modem has a USB internet port on it and i guess it runs off this TCP/IP and i was wondering if that would get him on the internet then he could download the other drivers from windows.i am bringing my wire and driver drisc for the motorolla USB tomorrow.

i might be wasting my time i dont know how these things work is there anything i should burn to a cd to bring over there with me??

thank you for your time

No, because the logo is machine specific.
We still need to know what kind of CD was used.
