Hey. I'm currently new to building computers. However, I would like to make my first one and not sure whether these parts will be compatible with each other.
So please give me advice on the follow specs.

CPU: AMD Phenom 9950 X4
Motherboard: GIGABYTE MA780G-UD3H
Memory: 4GB KIT DDR2 800 KINGSTON
Case: ANTEC 900
Power supply: VERTEX 600W
LCD: 21.5'' BENQ E2200HD
Harddrive: 1T SATA W.D.32M

So thank you in advance. And do I need any more parts in building a computer?

Hi and welcome... :)

How about a DVD drive? Are you intending on using onboard graphics or choosing a discrete card? Have you got an OS lined up?

Other than that, I'd avoid the Vertex PSU and go with something a bit more efficient and higher quality. Also 600W is way overkill, you could easily power that system with something like the Corsair 400W.

Cheers
