Hello,

I came to my mom's house for a visit, and noticed she had been for some month's w/o an antivirus.

I downloaded free AVG antivirus, as I was told it was good.

It detected around 48 threats on the first run.

But afterwards, we were totally unable to run Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Photo Editor, and as I ran it through a USB flash drive I've got with a program called "Cruzerlock2", which encrypts files, I cannot run this one as well. I get an error message on this program that states that window's cannot open the aplication or does no have the permits to do so or something like that.

Also, the flash drive can now only be accessed when plugging it into the computer, and if you try to open it later on through my PC and clicking on the current log i get the following error:

E:/
Access denied

If anyone can help me I'll be more than gratefull for the rest of my life :)

Thanks a bunch!

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post the reguested logs in THAT forum. If you are unable to run any of the tools then start a new topic in the malware forum and put this in the subject line...I am unable to run any malware tools

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
