Hi!
My daughter's laptop, running Windows XP Service Pack 2, has got infected with Malware Doctor. Yesterday Windows ran in normal mode but the following message came on screen "You are running unregistered version of Malware Doctor..." Another window said "BUVPPWG.EXE has encountered a problem & needs to close."
Today Windows refused to open in normal mode but opened in safe mode. However I couldn't connect to the internet & am posting this from another laptop. The same internet connection is working fine on this machine.
I would like to request you to help me remove Malware Doctor from my daughter's machine. Is it going to be an impossible task, considering there is no internet access from it? She has a very old version of Avast Home antivirus on the laptop.
Thanks in advance.
