Router and software firewall

Hi All

I understand the importance of having a firewall present on any system. But if my router has a firewall built-in do I need a another software one?

Info appreciated

Let's put it this way.
Router firewall should protect you in 98% cases.
If having software firewall will add another 1% to the equation, I'll take it. That's why, I use software firewall as well.

NOTE. The numbers don't add up to 100%, because there is no perfect protection
